A helpless kit was left alone under a tree, claws marks soaked in blood were down her back, she mewed and mewed but no one heard, her mother and fathers bodies lay little ways, dead

I was hunting, but apparently instead of finding prey I found a kit. "What in SeasonClan-?" I demanded to no one in particular. I looked around for anything, anything at all and noticed two bodies of cats, their fur matted in blood, unmoving. I looked back down at the kit.
"Well," I decided in a heartbeat, "let's get you to Frostpelt." I bent down to gently pick up the tiny kit by its scruff.

Starkit mewed at the new scent, she wiggled around trying to get back to her parents scent

I was hunting. I had an eye on a plump mouse. I licked my lips. I was about to leap when a twig cracked, and the mouse scampered away. I glared furiously at the source of the sound, and saw Earthstar carrying a kit. "Earthstar!" I complained. "You scared away my mouse! Who's the kit? What happened to it?"

I rushed forward to Earthstar and the kit. "It's okay, little kit." I said soothingly. "Everything will be alright. Come on. Let's get you to camp and get you all cleaned up."

I nodded and started off to SummerClan camp as fast as I could without hurting the kit further.

I let out a muffled yelp and stepped backwards. I gingerly put the kit I was holding on the ground. "Why?" I demanded. "It's just a helpless kit!"

I whirled around and hissed in agreement, claws impatiently raking the ground, but waited for a signal from Earthstar to attack. "Well? Say something, or has a badger got your tongue?"
